Who we are

This app ("Kilburn Original Kredits") is operated by Kilburn Original Tattoo Studio ("we", "us"), the data controller. Contact us at info@kilburnoriginal.com.

What we collect

• Account details: your name and email (and password, stored hashed).
• Loyalty ledger: tattoo spends logged by our staff and credit earned, redeemed, adjusted, or expired.
• Contact enquiries: any name, email, phone, artist preference and message you send through the in-app contact form.
• Technical: an auth session token stored in your browser so you stay signed in.

Why we use it (legal basis)

• Contract — to run the loyalty scheme, calculate your credit, and let you redeem it.
• Legitimate interests — to secure the app (fraud prevention on QR redemptions) and keep accounting records.
• Consent — for marketing communications (see below). You can withdraw at any time.

Marketing & third parties

If you tick the marketing consent box at sign-up, we may use your name and email to send you promotional messages from Kilburn Original (offers, flash days, news). For this we may share your name and email with third-party service providers acting on our behalf, including:

• Email delivery providers (to send the messages).
• Analytics providers (to measure open/click rates).
• Promotional partners running joint offers with the studio.

These partners are only permitted to process your data for the purposes we agree with them. We do not sell your data. You can withdraw consent any time by emailing info@kilburnoriginal.com.

How long we keep it

Account and loyalty records are kept while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards for accounting and tax purposes. Individual credit entries are treated as expired 185 days after they were earned. You can request deletion at any time (see your rights below).

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Ask us to correct anything inaccurate.
• Ask us to delete your data ("right to be forgotten").
• Ask for a portable copy of your data.
• Object to processing or withdraw marketing consent.
• Complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

Cookies & storage

We use browser local storage only to keep you signed in. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies in the app.
